Today Liverpool Ladies have announced the signing of former Arsenal Ladies player Gemma Davison. Davison will be a great addition to Liverpool’s attack for the upcoming 2014 season, adding to our already impressive attacking force.
Davison re-signed for Arsenal last March following a spell in America where, along with Bristol Academy’s Ann-Marie Heatherson, she helped Buffalo Flash to the W-League title. The following year the Flash became Western New York Flash joining the WPS league, Davison made 12 appearances – alongside former red Whitney Engen – in another title-winning campaign scoring once.
Last season Gemma made 21 appearances, including in the 3-0 defeat of Liverpool, for Arsenal Ladies, scoring 3 times as the Gunners won the double with The FA & Continental Cup.
